SignalScout serves four main customer types. Influencer and creator teams use it to vet creators, validate audience quality, and confirm that sponsored content reaches the right buyers. Competitive intelligence and GTM teams use it to track competitors, category leaders, and industry voices — and see which companies and people are actually engaging with that content. Executive and founder-led teams use it to monitor their own leadership presence and check whether the right buyers, investors, or hires are in their audience. VCs, analysts, and agencies use it to map ecosystem influence — understanding who amplifies ideas, who connects communities, and who shapes the conversation in a given market.

Any public LinkedIn profile — a competitor, a creator, an executive, an industry voice, a VC, a founder — can be analyzed as long as it's publicly visible. The tool is neutral: you track the profile, and you define what it means to you. You paste the URL, SignalScout pulls the available posts and engagement data, and you get a structured signal view within minutes. No credentials are required, and we never access any private data. If a profile is restricted or limited by LinkedIn's visibility settings, we'll let you know.

No — creator tracking is just one of several use cases. SignalScout works for any LinkedIn profile you want to understand: competitors, executives, investors, industry analysts, category thought leaders, or your own leadership team. The tool treats all public profiles the same way. Most customers track a mix of profile types in the same account — for example, a GTM team might track two competitors, a few category voices, and their own CEO's presence simultaneously.
Create a free account, paste a public LinkedIn profile URL into the homepage field, and click Get signals. SignalScout validates the URL, pulls recent post activity, and routes you to your dashboard when the results are ready—usually within a couple of minutes. No setup, no downloads, no configuration required. Free accounts include 3 lifetime analyses so you can explore the product before committing to a plan.
Most analyses complete in one to two minutes. Profiles with a high volume of recent posts or heavy engagement may take slightly longer. You'll see a status indicator in your dashboard while the analysis runs, and you can navigate freely while you wait. Results are saved to your signal history so you can return to them anytime.
SignalScout maps over 50 signals from each public profile analysis: post content, engagement totals, reaction breakdowns, comment patterns, media type, post cadence, hashtags, impressions, and author metadata including headline, company, location, and follower count. On paid plans, you also get comment and reaction detail—who engaged, how often, and in what context—so you can move beyond surface-level counts to real engagement behavior.

Pulse tab showing 7-day and 30-day engagement trends, follower growth velocity, and engagement rate over time
The dashboard surfaces signal patterns across four lenses. The Pulse tab shows momentum, cadence quality, and engagement rate at a glance. The Posts tab lets you drill into individual posts with hook effectiveness, CTA impact, format, and theme scoring. The Insights tab surfaces competitive intelligence modules—engagement patterns, interaction modes, comment quality, unique vs. repeat engagers, influence nucleus, and author reply ratio. The Influenced tab (Starter and above) shows the audience behind the engagement, enriched with titles and company context on Pro and Agency plans.

CSV and JSON exports are available on all paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Agency). Starter exports cover post-level data. Pro and Agency plans add engager list exports so you can take audience intelligence into your own tools. Exports include timestamps, engagement breakdowns, media type, and profile metadata—everything you need to reproduce the same signal story downstream.

The free plan includes 3 lifetime analyses with full access to the Pulse, Posts, Insights, Influenced, and Actions tabs. You'll see engagement trends, post performance, audience signals, and AI-generated content actions — the same depth as paid plans. The only things gated are exports (CSV/JSON) and automations. Free scan limits don't reset monthly; upgrading to a paid plan is the path to ongoing monitoring.

Best and worst performing posts ranked by engagement, showing top performers with percentage above average
Starter ($79/mo) unlocks ~1,500 monthly credits, advanced insights, weekly automated re-analyses, and CSV/JSON post exports. Pro ($199/mo) adds ~6,000 credits, the full influenced audience list, engager list exports, repeat engager detection, and deeper engagement analysis. Agency ($399/mo) goes further with ~20,000 credits, per-post engager breakdowns, audience enrichment with title and company context, and engager filtering and segmentation. All paid plans include a usage indicator and signal history.
When you reach your monthly credit limit, new analyses pause until your next billing period. If you need more capacity right away, credit packs are available as one-time add-ons—1,000 credits for $10 or 3,000 credits for $25. Credits roll over and don't expire, so any unused balance carries forward. Your dashboard shows a real-time usage indicator so you can track where you stand before you hit the ceiling.
Yes. Starter, Pro, and Agency plans can set up weekly automations that re-analyze a saved profile on a schedule, refresh the signal data, and update your dashboard without manual action. Automation runs count against your monthly credits the same way manual analyses do. You can also use the Recheck feature to pull updated engagement data from a previous analysis without triggering a full new run—useful when a recent post is still accumulating engagement.
